Air Advisory

Air Advisory documents the days in June 2023 when smoke from Canadian wildfires blanketed New York, turning the skies orange and pushing air quality to “unhealthy” and “very unhealthy” levels. The orange and sepia tones in these images are not manipulated but come directly from the impact of the fires, creating a kind of post-dystopian elegance. This work stands as a record of how environmental crises reshape the look and feel of daily life.
